Hello all my wonderful and much loved dA friends. Well tomorrow at 4am we'll be heading out to drive to Oklahoma for almost three weeks. I'm looking forward to the trip.

It's been awhile

Hello all my wonderful dA friends.
It's been such a long time since I've put in a new journal that I thought I'd take a bit of time this morning.
As most of you know, my sister Janice passed away after a long battle with cancer.
I've really been having a tough time with this, even knowing that she is with the Lord and that He is always
in control. I trust him in all things.
I'm staying busy with lots of projects and will post some soon.
We are finely getting some warm and even hot weather. Our last snow was in May! LOL.
I hope you are all doing great and being very creative.
I'm starting to feel more like myself again though it is very hard getting along without my best buddy and sister.
Our other sister Sherry has pulled away from me and is working on getting through our loss. I feel like I have lost
two sisters. I just keep praying and sending her messages of love. I'll be there when she is ready. On the positive side of
this is that she and her husband are getting their marriage back together, they just had their 32nd anniversary and went on a mini
vacation together. The pics she posted on fb. were great to see, they look so happy again.
Ok, enough of that. Take care my friends, I love you all.

Hello all my dA friends.
I hope this finds you all doing well and being creative.
As you know my sister Janice is battling cancer and is having quite a fight with it. She is still hanging in there and has actually become a lot better. I just about fell out of my chair today when the phone rang and she was on the other end.
Our heavenly Father is so amazing. I want to thank you all again for the prayer's love and support. Janice is expecting her first Grandbaby at the end of March. I truly believe that God is granting our prayer that She gets to be with us for this blessed event.
Thank you all again.

Missing you all

Happy New Year everyone.
I want to thank you all for the birthday wishes, I love you all.
I'm sorry that I haven't been on dA lately, but most of you know that my sister Janice is battling cancer.
Well She has become very weak due to the chemo and some of the serious side effects. She was in the hospital again, had some surgery to correct some issues.
It's a bit complicated to cover all the details but her body just cannot heal.
She is now home and all we can do now is to keep her as comfortable as possible.
The home health care nurse was there yesterday and her condition is getting worse. We were told yesterday that she will only be with us a few days more. My heart is breaking, I wish you all could have known my sister. She is one of the strongest, loving people I have ever known. Just about all the family is here and were all supporting each other the best we can.
Thank you all so much for your prayers and support. I love you all.

Christmas miracle

Hello all my wonderful dA friends.
I hope this finds you all safe and creative. I haven't been spending very much time here and I've missed it so much.
In my last entry I told you of my sister's cancer. It has been a very difficult journey but we are helping each other each and every step.
Now for the miracle, She had her cat scan last week and the tumor on her brain is GONE! I mean completely, the other tumors are breaking apart. Can we all shout "Praise the Lord"?. The doctor's are amazed by this, but not me, I know the Lord and I know He always has us in his care.
Janice is getting ready to start her 5th round of chemo. She has lost all her hair and has lost so much weight.There are so many side effects she is dealing with, she is losing strength in her legs and has diabetes and has to take insulin injections.
We still have a long and difficult road ahead but we are dancing with the great news. I will try to spend more time here with all of you, please remember that I love ya all. Much of my time is spent hanging out with Janice when the rest of the family is at work. She falls easily and we don't leave her on her own.
