silver wire tree on rock by Rhed-Dawg silver wire tree on rock by Rhed-Dawg
Another tiny wire tree, I used silver wire this time, and I like the way it looks, the whole sculpture is only about 3 inches tall, the tree is 1 and 1/2 inches tall. If you look very closely you can see a little copper wire birds nest on the right hand side of the tree!

How pretty. Can I ask a question? As a person just starting out making wire trees, what kind of wire would you recommend? Are there brands to avoid?

Thank you. I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you.
I actually buy copper wire from the hardware store then strip off the plastic coating. It's much cheaper this way. I really don't go by brand at all.

From the hardware store, not from craft stores? I didn't know about that. Thank you for telling me, and my apologies for taking so long to reply to you.
